The most beautiful villages of France : Loubressac

Old village, Loubressac offers a beautiful panorama of the surrounding valleys of the Dordogne, the Cère and the Bave. From this “balcony” of the High Quercy, take time to admire the surrounding castles: Castelnau, Turenne, Montal, Saint Laurent and the foothills of the Massif Central.
The village itself is dominated by a castle, a mansion dating from the 15th century and Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, registered since June 1971, as historic monument.

Go then walk the narrow, winding streets lined with medieval houses built in ocher stones, with flowery balconies and stairs. Loubressac has also obtained in 1989 and 1990 First Prize flowery villages Midi-Pyrénées.

Several possibilities for walks and hikes are available to you from Loubressac: You can reach the village of Autoire example (7 kms) and discover along your way fountains and dolmens.
